Sobia Khaja, MD, FACS

Khaja, Sobia

Dr. Khaja is an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She completed her otolaryngology residency training at the University of Iowa followed by a fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstruction. She directs the head and neck cancer multidisciplinary clinic with Dr Wilke where they provide a team-based approach in delivering compassionate and individualized oncologic care to their patients. She treats benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck and performs microvascular reconstruction. Her academic interests include quality improvement projects for head and neck cancer patients.

Christopher Wilke, MD, PhD 

Wilke, Chris

Dr. Wilke is an assistant professor of radiation oncology at the University of Minnesota Medical School who specializes in treating cancers of the head and neck, brain, spine and skin. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s medical scientist training program where he stayed to complete his residency training before pursuing an advanced radiation oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Dr. Wilke is the founder of the Department of Radiation Oncology’s head and neck and spine radiosurgery programs and co-directs the Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Cancer Clinic together with Dr. Khaja where he works to deliver personalized cancer care tailored to each individual patient. Dr. Wilke maintains an active research laboratory at the University of Minnesota with a focus on the fields of cancer imaging and computational tumor modeling.
